id say one is more likely to bump into a spiritual community in berkley than on a church pew...yes, spiritual communities may exist, but spirit is an individual thing. i believe id settle for a fringe 'cult' over a large organized religion with very little going on other than the rehashing of standardized dogma. unfortunately spirit and religion seem to be miles apart from my experience...
