I said depression was like a tantrum and meant it- it's a paralysis of emotions and actions that clogs one up, thwarts one from response so eats away like a cancer. The solutions make it worse, in my opinion, such as booze, drugs since they depress one further. It definitely is a downward spiral and society just makes it worse with certain expectations along with the hocum-pokum of shrinks, doctors and rx.
