We're the only animals that go through a teenage phase.  Primitive
societies are more violent than organised ones, even taking wars into
account.  We could rid the world of poverty in a couple of years - we
don't bother but like to think our ourselves as moral.  We educate
people in an area of life the majority is no good at.
