Here's an excerpt from a National Geographic article
(July 2007) called Swarm Theory as follows:

"Whether we're talking about ants, bees, pigeons,
or caribou, the ingredients of smart group behavior -
decentralized control, response to local cues, simple
rules of thumb - add up to a shrewd strategy to cope
with complexity."

Also from the article, Google, Wikipedia,
computer-robitics engineers, a shipping company, were
example excerpts the article covered in which these
organizations are using swarm theory.

I find this similar to what Ant quoted from the
MOQ textbook, "The Metaphysics of Quality does
definitely imply that, other things being
equal, an employee-owned company is more moral than a
privately owned company for the same reason that a
democracy is more moral than a dictatorship.
Decentralization... this is the anarchy that I
talk about, an organized-anarchy has symmetry, but is
flexible enough to call it creative.
