Isn't part of the problem, the method. This need
to know what 'closed logic' or 'circular logic' is? I
find my self at fault here. I'm not saying these
concepts are wrong. I'm not saying these concepts
work or don't work. Ian brought them up I would
assume due to their workability to make distinct two
kinds of logic and this helps Ian. I don't really
know what they mean, but I don't think these two
concepts hold the key to some secret, special
knowledge that is the cure all. Ian, I'm not saying
you think this either.
These concepts may unlock something for somebody,
but they aren't the only doors. I guess I find the
intellectual level an exercise. As long as I'm
intellectualizing, then this is something to value.
Now to try to define what intellectualizing is, and
what kinds of intellectualizations can be labeled
intellectual, and also how some might be better than
others. I'm saying if your intellectualizing is
working, it's helping the event, not hurting it, then
what more could we ask for? It's a practice, that
some days may not work so well, and others it works
very well. Situations can be difficult and some more
easy than others. What kind of intellection do you
practice? Can that really be answered to everybodies
satisfaction as to what intellection is? To know what
it is, is different than what is practiced. So, what
is practiced. Go and find out.
