Steve:
I suppose people are subjects and objects at the same time--another
Platypus.

I say it is a Platypus because for most people whether there is or
ever will be artificial intelligence is an interesting question,
while from an MOQ perspective, as you say, machines already have it.
There is no question.

"That's the mark of a high-quality theory. It doesn't
just answer the question in some complex round-about way. It
dissolves the
question, so you wonder why you ever asked it." -- RMP, Lila.

Steve:
I'm not sure what your quote of me was referring to, and I'm not sure
what you are objecting to other than my word choice. I think I took
this use of "substance" from Northrop when he was describing Locke's
philosophy. Call it what you want.

How many thoughts fit in a shot glass or how many shot glasses fit in
a thought? The point is, in SOM terms they are different universes
with no connection while the MOQ is able to relate them in a static
hierarchy by demonstrating the two connecting terms of biological and
social patterns.

Regards,
Steve
