I'm afraid I don't follow you here. But I would say, yes, the social and 
intellectual levels are different with respect to the capacity for abstraction. 
And the social level does seem to operate in a more concrete way. In the case 
of language, we see its use in practical matters rather than a discussion of 
its rules and structures. With respect to dreams and myths we see a kind of 
literalism rather than a hermunetics of comparative mythology and a science of 
dream analysis instead. That sort of thing. Maybe the most basic difference is 
best summed up by saying that social level patterns are aimed at holding 
society together while intellectual patterns are aimed at holding ideas and 
concepts to together. Each is aimed at maintaining its own kind of structures. 
This can be consistantly applied to the biological and inorganic levels too. I 
think its a clean and simple way to start, at least. Not sure if I answered any 
of your questions, but there it is.
