     That's what I like about the antique road show,
too.  This clay pot is sitting on a table, and by the
end of the appraisers discussion I was able to see all
the details that went into the pot being, not just
made, but into the hands of the current owner.  I like
the cultural set-up in describing the period the
artwork was made, sometimes the artwork was an
innocent little tea pot that ended up in a historical
figures household or a painting by an amateur that
painted his or her daughter long ago and the this
painting, in time, becomes a peek into what is called
the ordinary life of the ordinary person sometime long
ago.  The stories are wonderful.
