how can anyone speak authoritatively
about how another person experiences anything?

sorry for butting in - just curious...

saying that michelangelo wasn't limited by
SOM...how can anyone say that? He lived in
a completely different time and place and
is not around for us to question now -

it seems to me that you have experienced something
remarkable about their (these artist's) work and
what you are doing is 'labeling'
or ascribing on them the capability of having a
different way perceiving the world around them...
when we don't really know anything
at all how they saw the world.
