I also think being forced to rent space on the earth is obscene. I propose a compromise - anyone can homestead on public land and raise a crop, but they can't sell or lease the land and all welfare subisidy is eliminated - no more free health care or food stamps for the poor. They plant or they starve. Or go work for a more productive land"lord". Whaddya say Platt?
