Nicely put.  I agree completely. It's interesting to think that in a world
of too many choices, "more freedom" as in  "more choices" isn't what's
needed.  What's needed is a better way of sifting the choices we've got.  Or
ways of acting on choices we'd chose intellectually, if the world was set up
that way.

Well I guess it depends on who you hang around with too.  I have this one
friend, Paul, who's a complete loony.  Raised in England but his dad is
Spanish, early on he got his hands on a boat and sailed around the world,
looking for a place to settle and after stints in Japan, the Fiji Islands,
South Africa and so on, he settled here.  He's a fairly competent nerd, and
an extravagant jokester, and any sort of outdoor party with Paul will
probably involve explosions.

Childlike play and unpredictability are treasures in older people.  Bless
all who cultivate suchness.
