Hi Steve and all, There are three words that need careful consideration: Evolution, Existence, Essence!
Essence is the word used to describe the individuality of all individuals manifesting in existence. In SOM metaphysics this included everything as there was no concept of evolution which can be defined as levels in existence. There was no precise description between a rock and a hard place. SOM metaphysics only describes indefinable individuality, Essence. Evolution is the metaphysical description of the origin of different levels of being in reality. How many levels is open to question, since a history for evolution has not been written, and the creation of levels does not have to be instantaneous Was creation instantaneous or the manifestation of individual levels in time? Existence is the reality for all manifestations in order. In the case of evolution a time constraint is suggested as 1 comes before 2. In the case of creation? IMHO!
