[Joe] "Quality does not require special ritual." I don't know about requiring special ritual. The setup in logic which can point convincingly enough to the perception of indefinable reality is not the usual bread and butter statement.
[Arlo] By "special" I mean specific or a particular ritual (such as a tea ceremony) that is required for pre-intellectual awareness. But obviously there are conditions (and mindsets) which influence this; e.g. the gumption traps or hang-ups discussed in ZMM (or generally the S/O perspective itself). Nor do I mean to imply that Pirsig's metaphysics, and those working on crafting an intellectual edifice from his foundations, are not "special". Of course I think they are. :-) Moq_Discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org/md/archives.html
