Pirsig's insight into reality as DQ/SQ prevents accepted logic, definition, from being the sole limit of reality. Indefinable DQ is not some fanciful entity ignoring logic. DQ is indefinable! The bar of logic is raised to the possibility for the metaphysical experience of indefinable reality. What about nonsense? Yes, the accepted definitions of the faculties for knowledge have to be tweaked. What comes after mathematical logic? Truth in metaphysics. How can I experience such a beast? I experience SDM to be metaphysically indefinable, call it DQ and he/she/it is OK without its gender showing.
