I did exactly the same thing, except without the students' names  
printed on them. I kept a checklist that was essentially just a tally  
to see how many times I had met with a student during a particular week.

I liked my labels blank because if I wanted to say more, I could do  
that on two labels, or I could just make incidental comments while  
wandering around.
