Well, whomever that someone is, they should buy y'all *monstrous* amounts of
beer. That one entry is *why* no one screamed bloody murder a long time ago,
when getting it in would have been possible and easier. We would see that
entry and say, "Oh, no worries, it's gonna be in there." Ah, ignorance is
painful.

Well, then it's rather analogous to LDAP. The point is, there is something.
But here's a question...what if you told all the users that with LDAP, they
could just start typing an email address, and the application would look
through the college listings, and try to help them out by finishing it for
them?
Bet you 'd have a lot of takers, or more people bitching that Netscape needs
to pull it's head out on this. Also, there are a LOT of LDAP enabled email
clients...all the ones worth mentioning are.
