That's fine -- it's your decision, and the comment field is there for you,
the user, to use.

But the ID3v1 tags are VERY small, and each byte is a precious resource.
(ID3v2 has room to spare, but if you're talking about "comment" you're
using ID3v1.)  If the encoder took up the 30-byte ID3v1 comment field to
advertise itself (rendering it unavailable to the user), I'd be appalled,
and I'd understand Jeremy's objections.

But it doesn't, of course.
