The Strib's Rochelle Olson notes this a.m. that the AFL-CIO endorsed Sharon
Sayles Belton yesterday (Happy Valentine's Day!), along with incumbents Joan
Campbell (2nd Ward), Barb Johnson (4th), Jackie Cherryhomes (5th), and Sandy
Colvin Roy (12th).
I noticed no union endorsements for any of the open wards, especially 6, 9,
and 10. Does anyone know when the AFL-CIO will endorse in those races? Will
it happen before the DFL ward conventions?
