Even if she qualifies for the free upgrade, I believe she has to go through the process of getting the activation code through the ordering system. Unfortunately, I'm still using beta versions, so I went through a different route. But my point is that she will not automatically receive the MLO 4 activation code. It has to be ordered as a new product, even if it's free.
If she already did go through that system and it told her she was eligible for the free upgrade, then she should be getting the code through the automatic recovery service. I assume you've already checked all spam folders? If that doesn't work, my next suggestion is to repost your original message with a subject such as, "can't get a hold of MLO support!!". I too have had immediate response from the support email, so I suspect there's something weird going on with your messages getting through. The support personnel does check this email group, but I don't think they read all the messages.
