You can use the chargeback procedure within 120 days (Visa and Mastercard), but this timeframe may be shortened by the financial institutions issuing the card (the bank). Using this procedure involves costs for the merchant – approximately $10-$20 if the claim is accepted. I have a payment terminal, and my price list indicates a charge of 60 PLN (around $15) for a chargeback. In my opinion, the bank/card operator should not approve this claim.
