I looked at the /var/log/XFree86.*.log but they don't have any errors listed, just all the modules that are loaded. My .xsession-errors file has the following: XLib: connection to ":0.0: refused by server XLib: Client is not authorized to connect to server xterm xt error: can't open display: :0
Another weird thing.......when I start xdm during bootup is get a simple white box with two text areas for my username and password, and the F1 return doesn't work. If I start xdm after I logged in I get a different login, which looks like a windows login box with a console at the bottom and the F1 return does work, why would I be getting two different looking logins? This is really frustrating, just to get my wm to load as a user uuggghhh. Thanks again.
