brazing works best on copper and nickle based metals (copper, brass,
bronze,  ect). brazing to ferrious metals does not work as well, but any
weld or muffler shop should at least have a MIG welder and somebody that
can use it. would work MUCH better then braze. but if all you can get your
hands on is an oxy acctyline rig you can open flame weld it (similar to
brazing) but with thin material you will have to be VERY carefull
