agreed... but IMO this not only affects the Root#purgePendingChanges that calls
NodeStoreBranch.setRoot()
but also any other call to rootTree#getNodeState that is made from the RootImpl
(current 4 occurences; 2 related
to changes and 2 related to index/query).
