exactly...
in order to push this forward, i would like to proceed as follows:
1. i will provide yet another patch that
- isolates RootImpls access to rootTree#getNodeState in a separate
method with a TODO
- includes michael's temporary equals-fix (plus a TODO)
2. commit patch unless someone raises major concerns and leave this issue open
for further work on the TODOs
i run the build including integration tests with both the TmpPermissionProvider
and the
PermissionProviderImpl and they passed. unless we have things sorted out i
would keep
the tmppermissionprovider in place in order not to risk breaking the build or
unnecessarily
slow down things for everyone as long as this isn't tested.
