Hi KR,
This club is run by volunteers. I volunteer my time to the club because of
the enjoyment I get out of riding with the club and because I thought I
could make a positive improvement to the club. A lot of us have volunteered
time to the club--many members, much more time than I. It distresses me that
someone can disparage the club under a pseudonym and not volunteer a
solution, under their real name, to make the situation better. I would
suggest that, if you have problems, you come forward as a volunteer and
offer suggestions on how to make the problem better. Lacking this, it is my
humble opinion that you're wasting everyone's time and that you lack the
courage to stand up to your convictions. I'll add, ad naseum, again only my
personal opintion: If you have some positive input then identify yourself
and volunteer to make the situation better. Lacking this I think you're
better off finding another club to ride with.
Tim Aubin,
OBC member, (and it didn't hurt to express my opinion under my own name)
ps...sorry this is so harsh....the club is what it is because members
stepped forward and fixed any problems they discerned. Anonymous rants
don't do any of us any good and don't make the club any better. It saddens
me that we all have to waste time on this kind of thing.
