Hi Chris,

The MySQL user- 'obs'-, and the db- 'obs' , both look fine; I can connect as obs,
mess with the obs db.

Now, why didn't I think of that?  ...I guess I never really wanted to find it,
suspecting it would be fine, if it existed at all! Which it is, and does. Rob
actually pointed out the way; it's under .../site_perl/- oops, I mean:

[amarel ~/dl/perl]$ locate Defs.pm
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Obs/Defs.pm  :-)
