Not bad for 1st level. <SNIP> That of course is not the point. The idea of an expert improving his abilities in combat and other areas is silly. Does anyone think it makes any sense to have a 5th level fighter (who could be defined as a veteran from a war) being unable to defeat a 20th level basketweaver?? The idea is preposterous. Now that is not to say the intention of the designers is not clear. Obviously they want to support a system that has applications for ALL PCs and NPCs. However sometimes making a system that is universal needs to take the backseat to common sense. ------------- For more information, please link to www.opengamingfoundation.org
