I am not very good at the fine details licensing. If you look at the discussions at the Oculus Forum most people seem to agree that linking (static and dynamic) to GPL software is out of the question. LGPL is probably ok according to Andres Hernandez (aka Cybereality) who is Community Manager at Oculus. But the statement below is based on the previous version of the Oculus license: Code: https://developer.oculusvr.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=487&hilit=gpl#p4486 At the forum people are discussing how to get GPL:ed software to work with the Rift, i.e. Doom 3, Flightgear, Blender, etc. No one seems to have found a good way of interfaceing the Oculus libraries without violating the GPL license of those programs. I have seen some suggestions of using separate processes and only communicate via IPC/STDIO.
