But surely you are aware that 3.3 was available for some months in the
usual DevZone seeding area, under the seeding license. If you are not
in the seed program, probably due to the disagreeable terms and/or being
outside the US, then that is understandably frustrating but actually a
somewhat separate issue then 3.3 itself.

But the Palm IIIe device is hardly worth worrying about, IMHO. Has
anybody even had compatibility problems on the IIIe yet? The only issue
I can see would be the need to update documentation or product
literature to mention this model by name.
In fact I just gave up on that today, and changed some internal
documentation to say "Palm III series" and "Palm V series" and "Symbol
SPT series" instead of listing all the individual models.
And what about Handspring and TRG? They didn't give much advance notice
of their products either. This will only continue.
