On the BeOS and Linux, only the IDE is ported. They merely wrap
EGCS compiler on those platforms. The only native compilers that
Metrowerks has (AFAIK) is MacOS, Wintel, and palm.
I have been pretty happy with Metrowerks. My only complaint is the
automaitic fiddling with resource names in constructor. I would like to
name a button something like 'btnAbout' but the constructor insists on
appending 'button' to it so it becomes btnAboutButton. What a pain.
