Palm seems hell-bent on destroying their lead in the handheld market.
First, they don't see the writing on the wall when it comes to added
features like quality sound, color, etc. PocketPC is closing the gap
quickly and users will demand those features.
Then, they (Palm) risk losing another edge by ticking off the 10,000
developers they have. Microsoft has gone to a paid suppport but who
pays for it. Not sure, but I know I don't. I also know that I don't
develope for Microsoft.
One of the things that turned me off to Microsoft developement was the
difficulty in getting technical information. If there is a good
software need, Microsoft wants to develope it.
Getting too gready is the death-nail for Palm.
