Are you saying that your machine does not have a documents/mozilla 
folder where NS7 currently and by default stores its user prefs? NS6 
lasted a little longer than it took to download on the one mac it was 
tried on. A lemon of a browser. I cant think of a reason why anyone 
would keep it. AFAIK NS6 and 7  would try to share the same preferences 
if both were installed which probably would cause problems.

NS4.? and NS7 do not share their user prefs NS7 will give the option to 
copy and convert NS4.5 (i think) and up user preferences and store them 
in Docs/Mozilla. I believe it was the same with NS6

Regardless of what NS or who ever has posted NS4 and 7 run fine on the 
same machine, well as well as can be expected. This I know first hand.
