If you want something bigger, go for the 9600.  The 9500 is a real PITA to
open to troubleshoot memory problems or to replace the PRAM battery....

I changed the PRAM battery in mine without pulling the mobo. I removed the battery cover (these usually do not clip back on preoerly anyway, and are unnecessary). You just need nimble fingers (which I certainly don't have!). BUt to change RAM IS a pain, though you soon learn to get the mobo off pretty quickly. The worst thing about the 8500/9500 is refitting the case... the shielding tabs along the bottom foul and get bent badly, which I chose to ignore.


The 9600 is a breeze to work inside, no argument.
