RE: Pentax FA* crap lenses

Pål,

I guess I've been lucky.  I own 5 FA* lenses and all have held together ok
so far.  Thing is, I live in California and do most of my photography under
fairly stable thermal conditions (10C to 40C).

You use your lenses outdoors at night in places like Norway and Iceland.
Could it be that the adhesives that Pentax uses just don't hold up under
repeated severe thermal cycles?
