At Christmas, Goose or duck or a crown roast seem popular or Ham ( wish
I could afford to serve goose.
that would have been more than twice what I paid for the duck and
partridge. )
It varies by region. I have never eaten partridge, but there one was in
this great grocery and meat place in Chinatown here in NY - and I
couldn't resist it. I'm still spending my birthday money - so it seemed
right
to splurge a bit to feed a couple of my close friends who threw me that
birthday dinner and also fed
me at Thanksgiving.

I still have a pound of wild rice I got last year.

and baby broccoli will be the chief green -- also salad with my home
made pomegranate dressing
