I'll take all of that into consideration. I'm still leaning toward the 77/1.8, though I can see myself possibly getting the Samyang and using the leftover money to "invest" in other gear that could help my photography -- lighting, flash, reflectors, etc.

I figure within the next couple of weeks, I'll have a pretty firm idea of how much I'll be able to "invest" in this pursuit.

PS. I was considering it the cheaper alternative at that point, but
then "pulled the plug". (I am using AF on it. So, 77/1.8 is better in
that way.)
