Maybe what we ought to, is that I buy one to use while my 77 is in for repairs. Then, in theory, I'll sell it to you at a bit of a discount, since it'll be a used lens, and I shouldn't really need two fast lenses in that focal length range. When you are within a couple hundred dollars of having enough money for a 77, you can then sell the 85 at a slight loss, but still recover most of your money. Of course, this plan is making the assumption that we are both capable of selling a working lens. > > -- Walt > > > On 5/17/2013 12:20 PM, Igor Roshchin wrote: > > > >Walt, > > > >While it's been almost a year since I looked at Samyang 85/1.4, > >my conclusion was that all those Korean lenses (under different brand > >names) have "A" setting for the Pentax version. > >And the reason the photos on some distributor sites do not show that is > >that they are photos of non-Pentax version. > > > >It's been a while, since that, a few new lenses came out, > > and I cannot guarantee you that it still holds, but I would assume it > >would. > > > >HTH, > > > >Igor > > > >PS.
