Mark The only thing to point out here is that the codec's won't work on the 64bit platform (to my knowledge). I'm more inclined to go this route when the 64bit starts to become more mainstream.

It installed faster, and now runs *much* faster (in the little areas you notice: speed for menus to open etc). Beryl is running fine, Wine is installed (albeit not from a supported repository), the Nvidia binary drivers are working fine too. So far I think I'm inclined to see how far I get with the AMD64 but will keep the list posted with success. -- Mark Rogers // More Solutions Ltd (Peterborough Office) // 0845 45 89 555 Registered in England (0456 0902) at 13 Clarke Rd, Milton Keynes, MK1 1LG _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
