Which codecs are not working? I have been able to get totem to work with xine and mplayer to work now also. Mplayer has also come out with w64 codecs recently so that has helped. The main things are getting flash and java to work.

It installed faster, and now runs *much* faster (in the little areas you notice: speed for menus to open etc). Beryl is running fine, Wine is installed (albeit not from a supported repository), the Nvidia binary drivers are working fine too.
