I think you could get a copy of your pathology report from the hospital to see if there were any ACTH secreting cells found on pathology.
 
I also think you can ask your local endoc to do a 24 hr urine free cortisol test to screen for Cushings,  and do a serum ACTH and cortisol blood draw (a.m.). If those come back elevated, or even a little bit elevated, then by golly... we just might be on to something!
 
GH deficiency mimics Cushings... there is alot of clinical overlap. The best thing to do is run some tests to screen you for Cushings to see if you are indeed hypercortisolemic.
 
I'd ask your local endoc  to run the traps locally before catching a plane to OHSU. I think Dr. Ludlam is a wonderful resource though, if over time, you just aren't getting better. You have to be referred to see him.
 
I thought about going up there for a study once. I gave the study to my endoc and well... I've given alot of studies to my endoc - lol... same thing happened to that idea as has happened to the others... file TC.
