Anyone who knows...I am taking hydrocortisone. Pituitary tumor removed 2002. Pituitary does not function since surgery. Now I am having a difficult time maintaining on 15 mg daily. Last about three hours and I am down again feeling sick. Would Predisone be better or longer lasting? Anyone have that experience? I went to my Endo after Minnie told me staying in bed two days a week was not normal. I do it because I run completely out of enegry and have no choice. My Endo ordered some blood work and said I am fine. He checked my sugar levels in his office. It was okay. I asked him about GH. He said he does not think it helps anyone to feel better. I really do not know what to do. Should I go for another opinion? Thank You all for responding to my questions. It really does help. I wish all of you well and hope the best for you. Thanks, Deanie |
