Yeah I understand you completely. The reason I bring
it up is that I have the microadenoma, docs say dont
sweat it, no biggy, I have osteopenia/osteoporosis, I
have a intermittently high pth and ca, I test negative
with blood serum glucose, but have these strange
hypoglycemic events, I have the bowel problems, I DONT
eat and still am 45 lbs overwieght (this being a
person that was always so skinny I had to put change
in my pockets in a high wind so I wouldnt blow away)

I hate to eat now. It just bloats me up, then three
days later the diareha sets in. I have been told I'm
crazy, take some anti depressants, have IBS, etc etc.

Then I finally went to dr pommier at OHSU in Portland
and he found the strange VERY HIGH levels of two
peptides, general markers for neuroendocrine tumors,
mine is more likely islet cell in my pancreas, very
small, very hard to find. But the markers are there.

The secretions seem to be what are messing everything
else up, the sandostatin helps a lot. Instead of
functioning at about 20% and thinking i'm dying by
inches, I am now functioning at about 75% and dying by
nanometers....hahah.

Well just pointing in a direction I certainly dont
want to steer you wrong. Just seemed very like my
problems, but then I am not a typical neuroendocrine
patient either, apparently i'm pretty non standard in
symptoms, bio-markers etc. And I am not sure they
are right. Heck the oncologist is not sure he is
right.

Hope you get better!!

Jack
