They took me back at 8:00 AM and I got to recovery around
12:00 PM.  So, about 4 hours.  I think mine took longer than norm because of
the extra bone work in the nose.<o:p></o:p>

They did not take my pit gland out or damage it (to my
knowledge as of now).  My tumor was growing off of the very end of the gland
into surrounding bones and sinuses.<o:p></o:p>

I had my surgery in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City 
w:st="on">Columbia</st1:City>,
 <st1:State w:st="on">SC</st1:State></st1:place>, but I think there are lots of
others on this board who could recommend doctors who have a lot more expertise
in this area then even mine did.  <o:p></o:p>
