Dear Cinny:

Your surgeons skill is key. My surgeon went up through my nose, removed my
entire tumor and I woke up without even dressing under my nose. No packing
nothing!!!! You will need some help, like someone to drive you and you will not
be able to pick up anything heavier then a cell phone for the first three
weeks.
Something would be wrong if you were not scared-:) I cried before my
surgery-:)

HUGS,

Tina

  Cinny,<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> I had
surgery about 8 weeks ago for a non-functioning 2 CM pit tumor. It had
already invaded my bone. The surgeon wasnt sure if they could get it all or
not. After surgery and post another MRI, I found out that while they got
most of the soft tissue tumor, there was still so much in the bone and
  now
tumor around the carotid artery that I still have to have radiation
too. So, I see the radiation doctor this week to determine what kind,
etc. My tumor is also very close to the optic nerve, so not sure which
  theyll recommend.<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>
Like Tina, I would also have to say that the surgery and recovery wasnt
nearly as bad as I feared. My biggest complaint afterwards was a lot of
fatigue and nose discomfort from the splints. But the pain was very
  manageable.<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p> Good
  luck!<o:p></o:p> <o:p> </o:p>
