----------------------------------------------------------- New Message on Pituitary Chat
----------------------------------------------------------- From: MinnieChat Message 5 in Discussion Hi Cinny, Typically the doctors don't use radiation as a first line treatment for pitutiary tumors. Depending on the size, for a non-secreting tumor, they may watch it, and if it grows, or if it is impinging on adjacent brain structures (like the optic nerve), the recommendation will be to remove it. Do find a pituitary neurosurgeon specialist, and consult with at least 2 doctors.
