While you're at it, see if you can convince them to drop the whole user.id file scheme. Failing that, atleast try to exclaim the problems people have just becuase you cannot do an administrative password reset on an id file! Infact, while you're at it, tell them to encourage their clients to maintain consistent implemntations of lotus notes on every workstation!! :) Sorry for the off-topic rant. One of the biggest problems we experience at my company is dealing with Notes/Domino and password resets/synchronization on it.
