Via is supposed to release DDR SDRAM-based boards for Intel's P4, 
although how soon it reaches us  only time will tell.

I doubt that DDR SDRAM will stay long, though. Though it gives a much 
needed bost over SDR SDRAM, it doesn't have the wide pipe that RDRAM 
has. On paper, RDRAM is supposed to be faster, but I think engineers all 
over are thinking of the next step from DDR SDRAM.

In the meantime, RDRAM is a bit expensive, and so is DDR SDRAM over SDR 
SDRAM, but then again, 256MB should be enough for most people... for now.
