hi holden, it's in the X config file if you want manual adjustment. linux also appears to set the best refresh rate available for the chosen resolution during your Xconfiguration when you correctly define the monitor and video card you have.
good monitors like AOC has on-screen digital display (OSD) controls which tell you the current 'refresh rate' so you dont have to guess at it. under windows, it's not that optimized even when you've installed the correct monitor & video card drivers. so you need to go under Control Panel -> Display -> Settings -> Advanced -> Adapter/Monitor -> Refresh Rate to adjust it. pong On Thu, 6 Dec 2001, Holden Hao wrote: > > Pardon my ignorance but how do you adjust the refresh rate?
