I have also tried the .exe Win install and have exactly the same problem as Juniper had (404). I plan to try the manual install, as laid out in the AlienBBC instructions.
I have exactly the same 404 error and the HTML is also in the same location. The reason that I leave this message (and have registered) is that it appears we are both running the German language version of windows (c:/programme/) - could this perhaps be relevant? This would imply that AlienBBC has problems with non English windows installations. This may explain why the problem is limited to a small number of users - non English OS installing BBC plugin, with SC7, and bothering to register..... I will let you know my progress on the manual install.
