I have tried various settings for bufferThreshold, but it is currently set to 100 as originally suggested and which used to work. I don't think changing the value has any effect at all.
I am using a Touch, also running 7.5.4. My PC is dual core, 2Ghz, 3MB. Not that quick, but more than quick enough for everything else. What puzzles me is that this worked fine for a while, but has gone back to being unusable. In my last test last night the delay was nearly 2 minutes.
